The Gators men’s basketball team will bring back Devin Robinson for his junior season.
Florida announced Tuesday evening that Robinson has withdrawn his name from consideration for the NBA Draft and will return to school.
The 6-foot-8 forward was looking to test his NBA draft stock after declaring for the draft without an agent, but an injury made Robinson’s decision to return to school clear. Robinson recently underwent surgery to repair a stress fracture in his left foot and was given a projected four- to six-month recovery time frame, which would have prevented him from working out for NBA teams.
Robinson averaged nine points and 5.6 rebounds in 36 games as a sophomore last season. He started 18 games for the Gators during the 2015-16 season.
