Brandone Francis-Ramirez is transferring from Florida, the school announced Wednesday.
The 6-foot-5 redshirt freshman guard averaged 2.0 points on 20.2 percent shooting and 1.0 rebounds in 29 games last season. Despite being considered one of the better shooters on the team, he shot 16.9 percent from 3-point range.
Francis-Ramirez, a native of the Dominican Republic, sat out as an academic redshirt in his first year with the Gators.
This news comes after forward DeVon Walker decided to transfer for his final year of eligibility in March. The Gators now have 11 players for 13 scholarship spots, which leaves two openings on the roster.
