More details are starting to trickle out regarding Florida’s satellite camp plans.

It looks like Gators coaches will host a satellite camp on June 8 at Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville. Trinity Christian Academy is home to five-star 2017 CB Shaun Wade (Ohio State commit), four-star 2017 WR D.J. Matthews (Florida State commit), and five-star 2018 S Tyreke Johnson (uncommitted).

This marks the second satellite camp Florida is scheduled to be involved in this year. Gators coaches will also a make a stop in Macon, Ga., as one of 10 “special guests” at Mercer University’s Elite Camp on June 3-4.

“The rules the way they are, we’ll use it to let our guys get out to places and instruction camps and do some evaluations along the way,” coach Jim McElwain said of satellite camps last week. “It’s one of those deals where you’re going to do whatever you can within the rules to help you be successful and that’s what everybody is doing.”
