Usually when Jalen Tabor is taking something, he is taking an interception or a kickoff to the house for a touchdown. With Florida in full media blitz mode though with Jim McElwain in Bristol, Conn., for the annual SEC Media Car Wash at ESPN, Florida decided to send its most outspoken player to Manhattan for a bit of a media tour.

Tabor, an All-SEC First Team selection from last week’s SEC Media Days, walked through Manhattan, visiting the Good Morning America set before touring the city and holding interviews with Sports Illustrated and Sirius XM Radio.

“I’m very excited and blessed for this opportunity,” Tabor said. “It’s an honor to represent the Gators and let my voice be heard.”

Tabor has never been shy about that. He certainly is plenty outspoken.

The day was plenty busy as the Gators and Tabor showed on social media:

It was a personal media day for Tabor and had its highlights and high moments. It seemed like Tabor was on his best behavior and did not say anything that would draw too many headlines.
